for a marketing guy he's doing really well. he's in a company that consistently values the idea of product marketing so much so that he gets quite a lot of face time during product launches. when was the last time you saw Dell, HP, Sony or any other consumer tech company's marketing exec come out and publicly say something?
also, as someone mentioned above, the highest paid positions are often finance and operations related due to the fact that CEOs are culled from the two departments. the general, and often mistaken, way of thinking is that a company survive without marketing and advertising... but knock out either finance or operations, you have a gimped company.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't taken it in yet, I was giving it some time to see if it would settle itself, but it seems quite unlikely that it will now. I'll take it in some time this week. Any idea what sort of figure I'm looking at if it's one of the two problems you've mentioned?

I think in theory if you damaged the phone and got the replacement in the US the replacement phone would be locked, even for you having a legit unlock.
But yeah, official unlock should be permanent.

Anyone try any cases by this company? I was recently given a free test unit, and I was surprised at the quality of the fit. It's a silicon case, but a very firm silicon, and is a much better fit than the Switcheasy Colors case. All the buttons are covered, too. It's a pretty nice case, I'd say it's definitely nicer than Switcheasy's, which disappoints me.

Maybe you could hold the iPad in front of your face to protect yourself from the radiation, maybe order another online to put in front of your crotch, don't worry about the 3-4 week wait, it will arrive before any radiation reaches you from Fukushima

Okay, this might have been posted somewhere on here already but I'm taking the chance and posting it anyway. In the first shot of the Ipod Nano 5G commercial (titled "New iPod Nano Commercial" on YouTube) the guy in red is wearing the Ipod Nano 6G Wrist Watch a whole year before the ipod nano 6G touch comes out. It is in plain sight coming right towards the camera as if Apple is flaunting it at us. This was definitely done on purpose. Apple is very sneaky in releasing this but also very creative and makes me wonder what they are putting in their current commercials. Probably nothing but just a thought.

Glass is made from silicon - and I saw the article and you need to send yourself a link via email and post that one, the link you gave it for your own login.
Its interesting, but until they actually deliver it, well, its a wait and see item.

Thinking about picking up a Mophie Juice Pack and was wondering if the supplied cable will work with a car stereo USB iPhone/iPod input? I see they say you can still sync with iTunes with the cable but does it also work in the car?

In a recent article that Nomad
IRAQ: Lawrence of Arabia and
Lawrence Of Arabia Movie
over as Lawrence of Arabia
Lawrence of Arabia
SUPERIOR and T.E. LAWRENCE
or Lawrence of Arabia,
Lawrence of Arabia
Initialize program

It was also good to be at the FCPUG SuperMeet :)
The future looks X times better ;)
How was the 'room buzz'? I have seen the vid of the presentation and it looked like a good time was had by all.

From my Snow Leopard partition, I started up the OS X Lion image to install (I was hoping to do a simple upgrade on my main partition- stupid, I know). The computer restarted and the Lion Installer began and prompted me to choose a HD to install to, but my Macintosh HD did not show up.
So, now I am unable to boot into my original Snow Leopard OS. The only options I have are "OS X Installer" and "Windows HD" when holding down the option immediately after starting my iMac. It seems as if OS X Installer has replaced my original "Macintosh HD." My files are still accessible by booting into Windows.
Is there anyway I can unmount the OS X Installer and boot into my original Snow Leopard partition? I've tried inserting the Install disc that came with the computer (Leopard), but it does not recognize Macintosh HD, so I can't install it.
Any solutions or thoughts?

I think I'm just going to take a risk and stop by this one later in the day (or at least call around 10 and see if they ran out...my guess is they won't have). If they're out, I can try the one on University as well as the ones in the city since I have to go back up eventually anyway.

Hey everyone I have a problem. I am making a website with 3 frames. two on the top (one being the title frame 15%, the other with a drop down CSS menu 10%). The bottom frame fills the rest of the page(*). When I put it together the drop down menu only drops down in that 10% frame. Is there anyway to make it drop down onto the bottom frame?

Ok, now I feel better.. so, any size HDD is acceptable, just that it won't boot off of it. APM's max is 2.1TB.

Thx for that :)
Didn't really find the right forum right away.
And thanks for the answer, I'll have a look at the doc's you linked too.

I've been there. It's pretty neat. I am fairly sure when I went (in 2009) they sold iPods, Mac Minis and AppleTV.
