I am looking to sell my iPod Nano. It is the white 4GB version. I have had it since they started selling them, which I think is about 3 months or so. It comes with all the normal stuff. I will also be including an iPod Nano Dock.
The condition is ok, but it does suffer from scratches, as im sure you know about. I have had it since day one, and was unaware it would scratch so easily.
I think $200 would be a fair price. Unless your looking to trade a 5g iPod, I am looking to sell only. If you have any questions feel free. I'll try n post pictures later.

Don't get the Neo Hybrid EX. Mine broke after 1 week of normal use. The bottom around the data/power connection is WAY too thin and snaps easily. Also, the buttons on the rubber bumper underneath make it look cheap, definitely not worth $30. It's a bad design, stay away.

I would venture a guess to say it's a bad logic board followed by (and possibly including) a hard drive with bad sectors. If you can, run apple hardware tests, tech tool pro or apple service diagnostics on both the logic board and hard drive. Backup your stuff as well!

i want to get a external HD to work with my 27" imac that i purchased last summer.
should i get one with Thunderbolt technology?
Also, would i hook this external up through my router or directly to the imac
neither of which have the thunderbolt connection port....
so, i'm wondering if there's any advantage getting one with TB
thanks for your thoughts
First of all, as far as I know no thunderbolt accessories are actually for sale yet. Maybe in a month or two.
I don't know of any router that has thunderbolt yet either.
Only advantage of getting a thunderbolt drive would be future compatiblity. (As long as it has multiple outputs in addition to thunderbolt, like USB/FireWire.). Thunderbolt items initially might cost too much to be worth it, at least until the price goes down.
If you want the fastest for your current mac, FireWire 800 is the way to go for your current system. USB only devices are slower, but usually cost less.

49. Wow. I knew he was in his 40s but did not know he was that close to 50.
First president that's younger than me. That feels really strange.

read about miitime, but miitime needs a working SIM, i cant use any SIM as my iphone 4 is not unlocked (unlockable baseband currently, dont have geevySIM yet)...
I see.
You gotta wait till you receive the gevey sim then and then have to follow the instructions on the mitime website.

I bought an ex-demo unit from a Apple reseller in Sydney. Turned up dead. Display turns on for three seconds then disappears. Dodgy gear. Have a search on Amazon, heaps of people are reporting the same problem. It's a shame, read some great reports on the unit but it seems to be a fault worthy of taking the unit off the market...

Here's the background. I have a .swf file that I grabbed from Yahoo. The swf is a Yahoo avatar that a coworker is using in our fantasy football league. As a fun joke, I wanted to take his avatar and animate it.
The .swf is currently animated, but all it does it blink and move it's eyes. What is the best way to re-animate that?
I'm guessing that I'm going to have to physically draw the avatar frame by frame similar to a flipbook to get the desired animation. Then I would scan that into Illustrator and trace it; then import that into Flash. Is that the only way or is there another way that might be easier?
Adobe After Effects or Apple Motion

sure it should work like on any other pc running windows xp ,vista or 7
the only difference between a Mac and any other pc like a dell for example is the Mac has open firmware while the pc has a bios other then that they are identical , so once windows is installed and booting you got a native pc , and therefore all peripherals that are compatible with windows will work, just like on a pc that meets the minimum requirements of that peripherals
Thanks for the your response :)

Last time I checked my Mini still sync'd fine with the latest iTunes but I'll check again this weekend to confirm.
As for the iPod 2G for $75... seems pretty expensive for such an old iPod. Putting things in perspective, I see 5G iPods (i.e. pretty much the iPod Classic but with more meagre 30gb capacities) going for around $100aud hence $75 for a black and white old school iPod seems a bit expensive unless you like the nostalgia..

Wow, all for the low price of $120!
LOL, i'll stick with LogMeIn.com for free, thank you.
Corporations probably need something more than LogMeIn, certainly something more reliable. I have no end of trouble with it dropping out and claiming the connection had been idle for too long while I'm working on it. It's a handy free tool, but I wouldn't run a business off of it.

I don't know why someone might want to change something really good. The old one was an "icon" of chrome. Anyway, we will eventually get used to this new one :)

I have MAC OS X Lion Developer Preview 2 installed on a partition of my hard drive, and I am a little hesitant to install it completely. I had Developer Preview 1 and there was a major audio problem.
I wanted to know if there were any major problems with DP2. If there are not, I can't wait to install it!
Thanks.

Well, unfortunately my iphone 4 died on me last night and became stuck in recovery mode and I've tried every fix I could find via Google, Apple Support, and this forum, to no avail. So, I have no choice but to take it to a genius bar at the local Apple Store. However, I have a first gen iPhone that still works fine and I was wondering if there's any way I can switch my iPhone 4 account to that phone until I'm able to get my iPhone 4 repaired. Or am I just SOL and will have to wait it out?
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
