Hi,
Here's what I want to do. Send a cool newsletter to a bunch of people, but I want it in the email (not an attached pdf file, I want it like a normal newsletter) and I want it to look nice, like with pictures and stuff.
So I tried the Publishing View with Word but then I'm stuck. How do I send it? I'm I even using the right program to do that?
Thank you all.

All i need to know basically is if you can format separate partitions of an external hard drive without losing the data on the other partition and how to do it!!
If you already have two partitions established, you can reformat one without affecting the other. It's like having two separate drives.

"If you have no idea how to make apps, you shouldn't be attempting something like this as your first project.
Anywho, to anyone who would possibly make this, there's an undocumented method in either SpringBoard or UIApplication (I can't remember which) that records and plays back UI events. (I'm currently kind of busy, and the last time I saw that method was in early but it still might be there
Ok,that's a start,where can I find it?
Not my first app btw just first app like this

i dont see whats the need for an app like that

NO native macro on ios yet. But if u want, use vnc and macro on pc so essnetially u automate stuff on idevice. Not ideal but ATM one of the better ways

Yes,I have been aware of that method for quite some time now and have even managed to use imacro in success with cloud browse to create bots, but what I really want is to eliminate the need for these time consuming alternatives and create one native for the iPod touch...

If it's because it's charging, call Apple immediately. Don't plug it in any more. You may be dangerously harming the battery and computer.

When I dragged the image to my desktop it didn't have a white background so not sure why it would have a white background for you.

I am getting into film editing on a small scale. I recently got a t2i and will be recording a lot of surf footage and down the road will be doing pictorial videos for a few clothing companies. So I was wondering would I really see a difference between the 13inch models compare to the 2 15" models? I plan on putting a SSD drive into which ever unit I decide on.
I am asking the community based on the fact that I don't want to spend 2,200 on the high end 15" model, when I would be getting similar results on the low end 13" model.
Thanks

PCI-X is simply just double clocked standard PCI. The FirmTek "PCI-X" cards simply mean support for that extra bandwidth feature but they are still fully compatible in a G4 tower.
FirmTek bungled it a bit by just flat out calling it PCI-X. It should be listed as PCI-X support. Just look at any of their non-PCI express cards. All support both G5 and G4 towers.
I have one of these very cards (FirmTek 1S2) in my G4 and it is listed as PCI-X but also lists support for G4's in the requirements.
To the original poster..
I strongly recommend the 1V4 (http://www.firmtek.com/seritek/seritek-1v4/) from FirmTek as it allows 4 drives so you can use all 4 drive bays in the MDD's. If you only ever want up to 2 drives or need to spend less you can get the 2 channel 1S2 (http://www.firmtek.com/seritek/seritek-1s2/) I have.

Actually XP on Mactel is quite likely to happen, won't be supported by Apple -- because that type of phone support is quite costly.
Likely Apple will work closely with MS to make sure it happens, and any Windows support needed will be paid for by the user.
---
OS X on all PCs means Apple is competing directly with MS, and that is a deadly place to be.
As long as Apple tries to make sure it doesn't happen, MS will likely not lob the nuclear lawyer on Apple.
---
If you want OS X, buy a Mac ...
If you like the Mactels, buy a Mac and run Windows.
Apple will increase their sales base and become one of the fastest growing PC makers soon, but not bear any costs associated with supporting Windows.

I know nothing about iMovie but does it show the audio waveform in the audio track in the timeline? Cutting to the beat is easy with the waveform. It is also essential for making quality loops in songs or trimming parts away and recutting the song to make it shorter.

If you're downloading several items but want one first (and it's not the active download) you can manually pause all downloads and force resume the one you want. Do this from the XMB.

You should use <a id="top></a> for that anchor. While "name" is still part of the spec, later versions of XHTML will be getting rid of the "name" attribute. I'm unsure why it doesn't work in Safari (perhaps a conflict with another id?) but try using "id" and see if that works.

You could just use SizzlingKeys (http://www.yellowmug.com/sk4it/) for iTunes, it allows you to assign keys to play/pause, search for songs, rate etc. and could cut the use of the remote out entirely.

i want to get a external HD to work with my 27" imac that i purchased last summer.
should i get one with Thunderbolt technology?
Also, would i hook this external up through my router or directly to the imac
neither of which have the thunderbolt connection port....
so, i'm wondering if there's any advantage getting one with TB
thanks for your thoughts

It seems that recently there have been a lot of robberies in Apple stores, but it always happens, and I suppose there's a lot more now than there used to be.
Probably doesn't help that they floor to ceiling glass doors and windows at every store either

Happened in China,December 2, 2010. When Jinna (a filmmaker) was travelling in Moscow, she used iphone4 to send three micro-Bo messages, the China Unicom (a carriers) asked her to pay 3,900 yuan RMB for this access to the Internet for communications. This called the most expensive micro-Bo in the history. What's your opinion about this?

I've setup a <div> area that is setup on Auto for scrolling options. If I have <a name="top"></a> and a ways down the div have a link back to <a href="#top">TOP</a> it does nothing. Firefox works, Internet Explorer works, but Safari does not for this. I've tried changing name to #top, I've tried taking out the </a> on <a name> I tried a lot of things, but nothing has worked. Anyone have this problem?
BTW this is in a PHP Page that loads a page into the <div> box that has the <a name> thing in it. I'll post the code if you need it.
